When used with the GRS-16 or GRS-16 PE, the angle effectively extends the reference edge of your square to address challenging applications. When used with the MTR-18 or PTR-18, the angle can be clamped to square the interior of a cabinet or confirm squareness in many different glue-up/assembly scenarios.
